oy...did more cleaning today...my powers of packing tons of stuff into a space smaller than it should fit into are well known .....(helps to have a bag of holding here too

did lots of cleaning today (have been doing a lot of it this year--maybe there is something in the water?)
spent 4 hours cleaning out the computer/stuffy room (we had been putting computer stuff on top of the animals and layering it---and yes, avalanches do happen!).
finally decided that half of the computer stuff was just empty boxes

and no longer needed (heck found the box for the first dvd player we had --on the 3rd one currently, as well as the first ups --on the 4th one, found games for xbox--we dont own one, stuff that we were supposed to return to people

....in the end we have a lot more room, and the garbage men will hate us for the next 3 weeks).

hubby did some baking today--his first try at making pop-overs....they were edible, not quite right, but excellent for a first try (and no pop-over pan)...my young padawan is learning (sniff sniff)...someday he might be ready to take his test (that would be chocolate)....but not yet

anyways...decided to log into gw today (yeah yeah yeah---ot I know)...and my oldest toon got her 6th bday gift (even though her bday is the 24th)....opened it--got a destroyer tonic! ...my first green bday gift from the hundreds I have opened...

so pretty good weekend over all (did some re-arranging in my other spare bedroom yesterday)

Yesterday I unclogged the bathtub drain and then spent the rest of the day helping my gf move into her apartment. Now it is back to work today for the first full week of school. Hopefully the kids remain scared this week.

the dollar already has ....and I doubt it will return to the levels it was 3+ years ago. (not sure which currency is going to replace it as the euro is in bad shape as well, and even the pound has taken a few for the team).

gee pwnd, sounds like fun (we do the drain thing on a monthly basis as my hair is butt length and I think my hubby is more closely related to the gorilla---)...being domestic, gotta enjoy that

and yeah, keep the kiddies scared

I only follow it because I still do business in japan (and we have been taken to the cleaners there)...and when I went to europe I checked the currencies that I was going to be using (to get a good rate before and after)...if you dont have a vested interest there is really no reason to know what's going on.

Once the US credit rating is downgraded to AA standard, or worst case scenario the US defaults (which is very bad for all of us) then they'll have to start thinking long term. There has been talk of changing the reserve currency for the last 20 years, so we'll see what happens this time around.

China is predicted to overtake the US as the worlds largest economy within the next 5 years. I have over a million pounds invested in the Chinese market right now, so if all goes to plan I'll be retired by 35.
